Dr Tan Kim Huat is the Chen Su Lan Professor of New Testament, as well as the Dean of Studies at the Trinity Theological College, Singapore. In addition to his many scholarly interests (the chief of these being the subject of the emergence of Christianity within a Jewish matrix), he is concerned with the struggles and issues faced by ordinary churchgoers.
