Programme Officer/Coordinator (Care)
Terms of Employment: Full Time/Part-Time
Department: Centre for Advocacy, Relations and Engagement (CARE)
Ministries: Family, Children, Youth, Arts, Ethnic communities (and others)
Reports to: Head of Department (CARE)
Overall Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute Bible engagement programmes/events with relevant stakeholders
- Advocate for and actively engage the Church in regional Biblical literacy initiatives, promoting the importance of reading, comprending, and applying Biblical teachings in daily life
- Cultivate robust partnerships and relationships with the Church to strengthen collaboration and support for shared goals
Key Responsibilities:
- Organise and coordinate the day-to-day activities involved in programme implementation, ensuring that tasks are carried out effectively and efficiently
- Provide administrative assistance, such as managing schedules and documentation, to ensure the smooth running of programmes
- Generate regular reports detailing program progress, outcomes, and any challenges encountered, for presentation to relevant stakeholders
- Maintain clear and effective communication with team members (within department and inter-department), stakeholders, and participants
- Build and maintain relationships with various stakeholders, including participants, partners, and community members
Requirements:
- Experience in project management is advantageous
- Exhibits excellent interpersonal, team collaboration, organisational, and analytical skills
- Has excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Demonstrates proficient oral and written communication skills; Fluency in multiple languages, with a strong command of English, will be considered
- Enjoys and excels in creative tasks, proficient with current designing software/apps for social media posts/campaigns
- Committed and responsible, dedicated to accomplishing assigned tasks
- Demonstrates grit and resilience in facing challenges
