Celebrating Our Milestones

The Bible Society will be celebrating the anniversaries of two momentous occasions in the Bible Movement:

• ‘Like’ the Bible Society Facebook page 
• All designs must be your original, unpublished work with no third-party logos, trademarks, or copyright material
• Read and agree to the Terms & Conditions below
• Create a Logo Presentation (PDF, A4 size, 300 dpi resolution) that includes:
  • Big Logo (in CMYK or Pantone, indicate logo height in cm)
  • Small Logo (Portrait: 1.7cm in height/Landscape: 1.2cm in height)
  • Logo in Black
  • Logo in Reverse White
  • Pantone, CMYK, and RGB colour breakdown
• Submission of entries: Fill out the online entry form, include a short paragraph explaining the reasoning behind your logo, and upload your Logo Presentation
• If your entry is selected, have on standby:
  1. Illustrator working file (.ai) + fonts of your Logo Presentation and
  2. Illustrator pathed file (create outlines) of your Logo Presentation

Eligibility

• The Contest is not eligible to employees of the Bible Society and their immediate families (parents, siblings, children and spouse).
• The Contest is only available in Singapore.
• The Bible Society of Singapore reserves the right to disqualify entries that do not meet the eligibility terms and conditions of the Contest.

Duration

• The Contest begins on 15 February, 2016 and will close on 15 April, 2016. The Bible Society reserves the right to shorten, extend, modify, terminate, or cancel the Contest, at its discretion, at any time. The Bible Society reserves the right to modify any of the Terms and Conditions set forth herein. All artworks uploaded after 23.59 hrs (+8 GMT) of 15 April 2016 will be considered void/unsuccessful.

Joining the Contest

• All artworks are to be submitted as an individual or church.
• All participants are required to register online with their complete personal particulars. Registration is free.
• Note: Upon registration, you agree to abide by the Terms & Conditions of this competition.

Judging Criteria

• Incorporation of those concepts listed in the relevant brief above
• Creativity and significance of the included rationale
• Plagiarism is discouraged and will disqualify entry from the judging process.

Selection of Winners

• The Bible Society will be the sole decision maker in selecting the winners for both the 180^th and 110^th logo competition

Announcement of Winners

• The winner will be notified via the telephone and/or e-mail. The decision of the judges for the Contest is final and no further claims will be entertained.
• The winners of each competition (180^th and 110^th) will be announced on the Bible Society Facebook Page, on this webpage, and in the June 2016 edition of the Word@Work.

Other Terms

• By accepting the prize, the winner grants the Bible Society the rights to use the participant’s name for the purpose of publicity, advertising, promotion and/or trade such media the Bible Society may choose without prior compensation or notice, and at its sole discretion.
• All entrants must declare that the design is their own work and free of any copyright other than their own personal copyright.
• In submitting to the competition, you agree to grant the Bible Society a royalty-free, exclusive licence to publish and otherwise use the submitted material in any way that the Bible Society sees fit.
• The Bible Society reserves the rights to use the participants' logo for any occasions or materials deemed necessary by the Bible Society without prior notice. The winning logos that are chosen will be the sole property of The Bible Society of Singapore.
• The Bible Society reserves the rights to amend colour/size/tone, etc.
