Come and learn survival tips for the wilderness: navigation and orientation. Edible Wüstenpﬂanzen. Creative art of escape and survival. How to produce water in the desert. Our teachers are wolves, tigers, plants, Abraham, King David, an Israeli desert command and more …

Survival tips and methods that shape our human behaviour in a new way, be it private life, career, faith or inner peace. Recharge your batteries and experience the closeness of the living God in the midst of the desert! Come into harmony with the Creator and time in a completely new way!

From the program:

- Hikes into the fascinatingly beautiful desert landscape where you will encounter desert animals and unexpected vegetation, because the desert is alive and offers more than just sand, stones and thorny bushes.
- Cooking and baking in the sand - just as it is common in the desert.
- Learn about the survival techniques of the Bedouins and from biblical times.
- Group dynamic workshops, jogging in the morning or evening.
- A Shabbat celebration under a starry sky.
- Spiritual dialogues & inputs, time for silence in the shade of acacia trees.
- We let the evening end comfortably and watch like Abraham the countless glittering stars under a clear desert sky!
- Overnight stays in 2-person tents, full board, parent tent in the middle of the camp, water and shower.

a. There is a screening process after registration. A confirmation email to join the tour will be emailed to you once the screening details are approved.

b. This is not your usual tour. This is a desert experience hiking trip. Participants will be camping out in the desert. Simple meals will be prepared during the hike and some meal preparations will required the assistance of participants to help out.

c. The itinerary is subject to changes due to weather or logistical reasons.

- The tour requires a minimum of 20pax for the tour to materialise.
-Please do not purchase your air ticket until you have received a notification email from us to do so.
-IBEx reserves the right to cancel the trip up to 60 days prior to the departure if the group size is not reached.

- Outdoor camping or desert camps (Tents and mattress will be provided. A tent to 2 pax)

- Travel insurance
- Visa application fee if required

Day 1: 19 May
Departure from the meeting point in TLV. With jeeps into the desert to the tent camp. Welcome, dinner and first meeting at the campfire.

Day 2: 20 May
6:00 Silent Time & Morning Meditation.
7:30 Breakfast.
10:00 Desert & orientation.
13:00 Lunch. Heat, Silence, Break & Program.
17:00 Workshop: Survival skills in the desert. What value does time in the desert have?
19:00 Dinner & dialogue around the campfire with Aviel & Anat Schneider

Day 3: 21 May
6:00 Silent Time & Morning Meditation.
06:30 Breakfast.
7:00 Desert hike (optional) in a radius of ten kilometers around the camp. How alive is the desert? Return in the afternoon. (Those staying in camp: workshop on cooking in the desert)
17:00 Silent time & meditation.
19:00 Dinner & campfire. News about darkness, night, stars and moon in the desert.

Day4: 22 May
6:00 Silent time & morning meditation.
7:30 Breakfast.
10:00 Dialogue round: How important is our own initiative in daily life?
13:00 Lunch. Heat, silence, break & program.
17:00 Workshop: Surviving the desert with own ideas and initiatives. How to find the North? Water and food in the desert?
19:00 Dinner & campfire. How do we get along at night in the desert? What are the advantages of darkness?

Day 5: 23 May
6:00 Silent time & morning meditation.
06:30 Breakfast.
07:00 II. Desert hike (optional) in a radius of ten kilometres around the camp. How do you get around the desert on the way? New tips. Return in the afternoon. (Those staying in camp: workshop on Shabbat and the Bible)
17:00 Silent time & meditation & preparation for Shabbat meal.
7:00 pm: Together we celebrate the Shabbat meal in the desert according to biblical tradition. Under the open starry sky and our Israeli friends. Midrash from the Bible with Aviel & Anat Schneider.

Day 6: 24 May
6:00 Silent Time & Morning Meditation.
7:30 Breakfast.
10:00 Dialogue and Training: To what extent are we resilient under extreme conditions?
13:00 Lunch. Heat, silence, break & program.
17:00 Round of talks with Aviel & Anat Schneider.
19:00 Dinner & Campfire. Talk about fear, loneliness and peace with God.

Day 7: 25 May
6:00 Silence time & morning meditation.
7:30 Breakfast.
10:00 Workshop: Biblical figures and my life.
13:00 Lunch. Heat, silence, break & program.
17:00 Silence time & meditation on the last afternoon until dusk.
19:00 Dinner & campfire. Dialogue round desert and me.

Day 8: 26 May
6:00 Silent time & morning meditation.
7:30 Breakfast.
10:00 Shalom & Goodbye. We leave the desert. Departure to TLV.
